Location: Essex, East London
Contract: Full-time | Term-time only
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £108 per day

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Encourage engagement, confidence and positive learning behaviours
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support both inside and outside the classroom
- Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and pastoral staff to implement support strategies
- Promote emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour
- Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
Person Specification
- Passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, nurturing and resilient approach
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Experience working with children (school, tutoring, mentoring, youth work or care) is desirable but not essential
- A supportive and inclusive primary school community
- Strong pastoral and SEN support structures
- Opportunities for training, CPD and mentoring
- Valuable experience for careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Teaching or Therapy
- A rewarding role where you can make a real difference in children’s lives
